About Paint Party

Detroit native and artist, Candace Dove, created Paint Party in 2016. During Candace’s time at Michigan State University she studied studio art and instructed classes at Painting With A Twist. While working at pwat Candace saw the need for mobile classes. So many people who attended studio classes expressed interest in having painting parties right at home. After 4 years with pwat, Candace decided to fulfill the need of mobile classes. Paint Party is proud to service the city of Detroit and surrounding areas. We offer classes for every age and every occasion. We also have an extensive art library and we even create custom art upon request. We host classes as small as 10 painters and we’ve had the pleasure of instructing a class of 140 painters! But, the best thing about Paint Party is that we bring the party right to you! We come to homes, churches, businesses, halls, bars, schools, or wherever you choose to host your party!
